John Galliano Will Not Show Menswear This Season

The line's manufacturer is facing serious financial woes.

John Galliano may be back in the world of fashion, but his menswear line is out -- at least for now.

The official calendar for the menswear shows in Paris, to be held from June 25 through June 29, has been released, and John Galliano's line is conspicuously absent. The reason may have to do with the brand's Italian-based manufacturer, Ittierre SpA, which has been battling a potential bankruptcy since late last yearWWD says John Galliano's owners are currently seeking a new manufacturing partner. No doubt missing out on a crucial selling period for menswear will be difficult for the label financially.

Galliano himself hasn't been at the helm of his eponymous menswear line since his public firing in 2011; Bill Gaytten has been serving as creative director for the brand.

We have reached out to John Galliano for confirmation of the above details; we will update when we hear back.
