After months of speculation and publicly buddying up with the world's most famous fashion designers — Olivier Rousteing of Balmain, Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen and Valentino Garavani among them — we can officially declare that Kim Kardashian wore a Givenchy Couture gown by Riccardo Tisci to marry Kanye West.
Tisci, a dear friend of West's who designed Kardashian's critically-panned gown for the 2013 Met Gala, has outfitted the reality star frequently over the last couple of years, and he was short-listed as one of the top contenders to design her dress for the big day. The fittings must have been a family affair, because according to US Weekly, baby North also wore a dress by Tisci, and West wore a Givenchy tuxedo.
Twitter tells us that Kardashian's gown was long-sleeved and lace, recalling the wedding dresses that Tisci has designed for fashion insiders in the past, including Vanessa Traina and Natasha Poly.
The couple was wed on Saturday at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
