London Fashion Week will be a little more ornate and glamorous this September. Marchesa, which has shown in New York since its inception, announced Thursday that it will switch things up and show in London next season.
Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, who are both British, told WWD they just wanted to do something special for the brand's 10th anniversary and will be back in New York next February. Chapman said that the show will be a "different experience."
The brand has alternated between presentations and runway shows in the past, so we're curious to find out what exactly that means. "All our English friends and family can get an opportunity to celebrate with us," she added. Does that mean there will be a party, too? A rep for Marchesa said they are diving into all of these details, but nothing is confirmed just yet.
