Marianne Faithfull, whose iconic '60s rocker style has undoubtedly been a source of inspiration for Hedi Slimane, is the latest star of his Saint Laurent Music Project.
Since its inception last year, the "Project" has featured the likes of Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, Daft Punk, Kim Gordon and more posing for portraits shot by Slimane, many of them used as print ad campaigns for the French fashion house.
The move could be seen as part of a recent trend of luxury brands tapping more mature women to front their campaigns: In the past year, there's been Jessica Lange for Marc Jacobs, Charlotte Rampling for Nars, Linda Rodin for The Row and Catherine Deneuve for Louis Vuitton. Though, at 67 years old, Faithfull is not Saint Laurent's oldest face — that would be 88-year-old BB King.
Faithfull, who once called Kate Moss a "vampire" who stole her style, still has her signature blonde bangs, and she's still churning out music. According to Wikipedia, she began work on a new album in 2013.
