What to Expect From the 2014 Met Ball

From a white tie dress code to a possible performance by Frank Ocean (squeal!) here's everything you need to know about tonight's big event.

The Met Gala, a.k.a. the biggest fashion red carpet of the year, is tonight, and with a dress code of white tie, we're guaranteed to see some of the most glamorous Met looks in recent memory. (It also means that the attendees are more likely to actually get the theme right -- no "punk" problems here!)

The theme of this year's exhibition is "Charles James: Beyond Fashion," and it will be the first one displayed in the newly-dedicated Anna Wintour Costume Center. The rumored performer this year is fashion darling Frank Ocean; previous years included performances by Kanye West and Bruno Mars.

Now for the bad news: There will be no livestream this year. (Booooooooo.) Presumably that's based off previous year's disasters, which included (awkwardly) cutting off Dame Vivienne Westwood and (hilariously) capturing the heckling of red carpet photographers

Here's everything we know so far about who will be wearing what to tonight's big event; we'll update as we get more confirmation throughout the day. (Noticeably absent: Gwyneth Paltrow, who seems to have "consciously uncoupled" from the "un-fun" event.)
