What Fashionista Editors Are Buying at the Net-a-Porter Sale

Ready, set, charge!

It's the most wonderful time of the year: The Net-a-Porter end of season sale! (Sorry, Christmas.)

That means some of our favorite designers, from Christopher Kane to Sophia Webster, are up to 50% off -- and while that might not always qualify as a steal, it's still pretty amazing

There's plenty of stock to go through, so we did the hard work of sifting through the discounts and picking out our favorites. Read on to see what's on our lists. Happy shopping!

Lauren Indvik, Editor in Chief

Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Prophecy Two-Way Crepe Dress, $279: Relaxed but shapely black dresses are my summer staple, and I'm planning on picking two from the Net-a-Porter sale -- this one from Vivienne Westwood and another from Alexander Wang.

Vionnet Wrap-Front Silk Skirt, $789: I've been eyeing this skirt from Vionnet all season. It's dressy but not uncomfortable, and that exact shade of robin's egg blue I've been craving all spring. I'd pair it with black and white accessories.

Fendi Color-Block Cashmere Sweater, $495: Polished statement sweaters are on my list for fall -- this one, with its clean lines and subdued color scheme, fits the bill. (Too bad it's already sold out in my size!)

Alexander Wang Glossed-Leather Mules, $367.50: I had planned on sitting out the mules trend, but at this price, I'm having second thoughts. This pair is wonderfully streamlined and glossy.

Charlotte Olympia Suede Sandals, $422.50: I've been obsessed with these rope sandals for a while, and this is about as close to affordable as they'll get.

Kenzo Printed Bandeau Swimsuit, $171: This pastel pink strapless swimsuit with black palm trees is about the cutest thing I've ever seen, and I've been looking for a good one-piece.

Kenzo High-Rise Shorts, $234: Work-appropriate shorts: They do exist.

Sea Playsuit, $267: Okay, this is maybe the prettiest romper that there ever was and as a big fan of rompers and the brand Sea, I need to own it.

Carven Dress, $483: I love the elegant off-the-shoulder silhouette of this ladylike LBD.

Alyssa Vingan, Senior Editor

Charlotte Olympia Sandals, $447.50: I may or may not have just bought these shoes for my wedding.

Christopher Kane Sweatshirt, $336: I love a fashion sweatshirt, and this minty green one is my favorite of the season.

Sophia Webster Vinyl Sandals, $157.50I’ve been eyeing these jellies all season, so I think it’s about time that I pull the trigger.

Nora Crotty, Associate Editor

Red Valentino Mini Dress, $597: To wear at one of Taylor Swift's garden parties.

Jil Sander Coat, $1,494: Pale yellow is the new black. JK but seriously.

Fendi Monster Saffiano Leather Key Fob, $162: Like those furry Fendi Monsters everyone has right now, only much less likely to be out of style in another month.

Jimmy Choo, Flambe Tasseled Suede Sandals, $625: I can't help but love a tassel.

Zimmermann Instinct Floral-print Boardshorts, $126: Just in time for summer, these gorgeous floral shorts could be dressed up for cocktails or dressed down for the weekend.

Erdem Bayley Embroidered Knitted Sweater, $592.50: I love Erdem. I love sweatshirts. You do the math.

Acne Studios Mape Matte-leather Biker Jacket, $900: I know it's nearly summer, but I've been on the lookout for the perfect leather jacket for a while now.

Eliza Brooke, Editorial Assistant

Kenzo Pam-Jacquard Dress, $385: I would do bad, bad things to have a wardrobe stocked with all things Kenzo, so today is THE DAY to live the dream. This little dress has summer written all over it.

Charlotte Olympia Sucker for Pandora Perspex Box Clutch, $782: Okay, so still outside of my price bracket. However, were I to snap up one of Charlotte Olympia's wonderful, whimsical accessories today, this would be it.

Acne studios Comet Leather and Scuba JerseyAnkle Boots, $330: A classic shape with a healthy dose of weird, thanks to the combination of oil-slick leather and stretchy synthetic fabric.

The Row Cat Eye Acetate and Leather Sunglasses, $322: Not that I *want* to look like a 16-year-old, but these sky blue shades are very Elle Fanning, in the best of ways.

Nina Frazier Hansen, Creative Director

Fendi Cotton-crepe Skirt, $375: A statement red piece that is not skin-tight nor neoprene. Hello, summer!

Alexander Wang Mesh-trimmed Wool-blend Sweater, $217.50: Who cares if I have to wait all summer before this sweater becomes wearable again? It will be worth it.

Monica Vinader Riva Rose Gold-plated Chalcedony Earrings, $114: Earrings to keep me cool as a sea breeze on these humid NYC streets.

Cheryl Wischhover, Beauty Editor at Large

J. Crew Falsetto Printed Leather Pumps, $140I cannot stop buying black and white shoes, (evidence here) and these are basically seasonless. I'm a sucker for both a pointy toe and a graphic print so I'm helpless against these.

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi French Terry and Satin Sweatshirt, $357I have coveted Preen from afar for many seasons, but this seems worth the splurge: Sweatshirts are still wildly popular (at least in my closet) and the print is so gorgeous.

Missoni Ombre Crochet Knit Scarf, $438: My grandma, maker of many scarves, would be appalled by the price of this. But it seems like it would be great for chicly wrapping around your delicate neck in freezing air conditioned offices.

R13 Cowboy Denim Dress, $367.50: Never mind how many chambray shirt dresses I have. There's always room for one more.

T by Alexander Wang Bomber Jacket, $170: This will dress down a floral frock and dress-up my yoga pants.
