Street Style: New York Isn't Waiting for Memorial Day to Wear White

Radiant orchid may be Pantone's color of the year, but here in New York, 2014 is shaping up to be the year of white, street style-wise.

After the never-ending, hide-under-your-blankets-til-it's-all-over winter we suffered here in NYC, one might assume that New Yorkers couldn't wait to embrace brighter colors once the snow finally melted. But in spite of it all, white seems to have become a popular winter-to-spring transition option. From statement pieces to accents and layering staples, the non-color has been everywhere lately.
