“Spiritually we’re a lot alike. The fashion world can make you a little soulless. So when I met him, it was nice to see that he’s really soulful," Alicia Keys told WWD of Riccardo Tisci, who cast her as the first face of Givenchy's newest fragrance, Dahlia Divin.
It's Keys' first beauty campaign ever and she looks gorgeous in the ads, shot by Tim Walker in a Parisian atelier. Walker also shot TV advertising that will feature music Keys wrote specifically for the campaign.
With Keys fronting fragrances, Kendall Jenner modeling ready-to-wear and Kim Kardashian wearing Tisci's clothes at every turn -- including at the alter -- this is turning out to be a pretty huge year for Givenchy in terms of mainstream visibility. It'll be interesting to see how Tisci and the brand continue to build on that momentum. Like Keys, Givenchy appears to be on fiiiiirrre.
