Cara Delevingne Models Her Mulberry Line

Holding an adorable puppy, no less.

Despite Mulberry's current financial and staffing struggles — the British brand's profits have dropped 50 percent, and it's currently down a CEO and creative director — it's taking steps to reestablish itself as a top contender in the luxury goods space. It recently launched a lower-priced line of handbags in an attempt to reconnect with its core customer, and it's teamed up with "It" Brit Cara Delevingne on a range of convertible leather backpacks for fall 2014.

The model-turned-actress-turned-designer presented her line for Mulberry in London during this past Fashion Week, in lieu of a runway show for the brand. Now, we have a first look at an editorial she shot in collaboration with Claridge's Hotel, who will be giving away one of her bags, signed by the designer. In one of the images shot, Delevingne happens to be nude. (Update: The nude image was not intended to be released, but can be viewed here.) And yes, she did recently tell the press that she often turns down movie roles that require nude scenes because she "wants to keep her morals."

In Mulberry's typically whimsical fashion, Delevingne also poses with a puppy (just like Alexa!) and a white owl in the beautiful spread. Mulberry also released a behind-the-scenes video that follows the model through her design process, in which she discusses her feelings on being a muse for the label and how she put her personal stamp on each of the handbags she created. (Spoiler alert: Her tattoos are involved.)

This post was updated to clarify that the images are not an ad campaign for the collection, but rather a collaboration with Claridge's Hotel.
