Cara Delevingne has been very open about her desire to branch out into acting — she's already had a small role in the recent film adaptation of "Anna Karenina" alongside Keira Knightley, and has been featured in one of Karl Lagerfeld's short films for Fendi — and now a clip from her first starring role has hit the web.
In the made-for-TV drama, titled "Timeless," Delevingne plays Chloe, a woman whose fiancé is a soldier serving in Afghanistan, and grows closer to her great grandmother who lived through a similar situation -- being separated from her partner during World War II. The two women bond over love and loss, which makes us think that this one's going to be a real tearjerker.
While this is Delevingne's first leading role, she's already got a few more in the pipeline, including a part in the upcoming film "Face of an Angel," based on the Amanda Knox story -- and rumors suggest she'll make an appearance in an upcoming "Peter Pan" adaptation, as well as in the flick "Tulip Fever" with Cressida Bonas and Daisy Lowe.
"Timeless" makes its debut on the UK Sky Arts network on June 19.
