Fashion Showroom/PR agency is seeking a PR account executive in NYC. The candidate should have a genuine fashion PR experience. The candidate will report to the CEOs and will supervise a small team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

§ Develop innovative PR and communications strategies and plans designed to meet client goals and expectations

§ Secure press coverage (product placements, features and interviews) in top national, regional and online media outlets

§ Develop and maintain social media content calendar for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram- with the idea to grow other aspects of Social media

§ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with editors, writers, stylists, bloggers, branding and sponsoring partners

§ Monitor press and communicate progress to clients (i.e., press clips, weekly/monthly credit reports, seasonal recap reports)

§ Generate press and media relations materials on behalf of clients (i.e., newsletter, editor and media pitch letters, press releases, biographies, boiler plates and leave behinds)

§ Plan and execute events, presentations (NY Fashion Week) and press previews

§ Manage all sample trafficking for the PR and sales department

§ Hiring, motivate, train and managing of staff and interns to fulfill all aspects of daily client needs

§ Candidate must have experience in press event planning and budgeting.

§ Proficiency in Powerpoint, Photoshop, Excel, Word, and social media networks

§ Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment with a consistent CAN DO attitude!

§ Very organized, methodical, efficient and with lots of common sense

§ Languages is a plus
