Keira Knightley is something of a style super hero to me. I still get heart-eyed over the uber-chic look she wore to get married in France -- a Chanel dress she already owned(!), paired with a pink Chanel tweed jacket, Chanel flats, Ray-Bans and the only flower crown I've ever truly liked. (I'm holding out hope that one day we'll get to see that second rumored wedding gown by Valentino.)
In the meantime, however, Knightley continues to wear gowns by Valentino, which she told me was one of her favorite brands in what I can only call the greatest two minutes of my life, to great effect. On June 25 she picked not one but two designs from the Italian design house: The first, pictured above, is a white lacy number from resort 2015 (as in, a collection that only just debuted), worn out with husband James Righton. The second, pictured below, is a stunning navy blue gown embroidered with birds from the brand's fall 2014 collection, worn to the New York premiere of her film "Begin Again."
Valentino suits Knightley's frame and sensibility so perfectly; the brand's particular style of covered-up femininity has always served her well both on the red carpet and off, so it's no surprise that these two looks knock it out of the park.
