Lena Dunham Looks as Pretty as Ever in Palm Tree Ensemble

So this is how the "Girls" dress on their summer vacations.

The palm tree motif Fausto Puglisi featured in his spring 2014 collection was one of our favorite prints of the season — as well as among the most knocked off — so we were delighted to see one of our favorite "Girls" wear it over the weekend in New York.

Lena Dunham chose a two-piece look by the Italian designer for the 2014 edition of BookExpo America on Saturday, where she promoted her upcoming book of autobiographical essays, I'm Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She's Learned. We think the author looks as sweet as can be, and this t-shirt and skirt combo is a great silhouette for her. Her short hair is pulled back, which is a rare beauty switch-up for Dunham, and her simple, coral shoes are a lovely match for the colorful ensemble.

Plus, this fun look suggests that she's having a fabulous time, and why shouldn't she be? Not only is her show "Girls" coming back to HBO for a fourth season, her debut novel hits shelves on Sept. 30.
