We are smack-dab in the middle of music festival season, and a new one has been squeezed into the calendar, conceived by the other stars of this summer: the Kardashian-West clan.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter North turned one over the weekend, and to celebrate, the couple threw a party of Coachella-sized proportions — appropriately called "Kidchella" — in sister Kourtney Kardashian's backyard. Along with a ferris wheel, balloon arches and an actual stage on which up-and-coming model Kendall Jenner jokingly performed karaoke, the most glaring similarity to the Indio festival was the style.
The party goers -- babies included -- took the Coachella theme very literally when it came to getting dressed. There were rainbow wristband bracelets given out to all those in attendance, customized Yeezus tour shirts made Kidchella-appropriate with fringe, tiny little moccasins gifted to North by Rachel Roy for the occasion and lots face paint. But nothing topped North's adorable outfit (see above): A fringed dress paired with a teeny tiny flower crown. How can we even hate on that?
Oh, and Aunt Khloe —who's never been to actual Coachella — wore a giant Native American headdress, further proving how far removed from reality this family is. You're never too young for a bit of cultural appropriation, right kids?
