Twenty-three-year-old British model/actress/"It" girl/Bradley Cooper's girlfriend Suki Waterhouse is barely old enough to remember the Spice Girls, but her designs for Superga immediately recall the British girl group.
For her first design collaboration (and probably not her last, given her frequent appearances on best dressed lists), she created a capsule collection of three flatform sneakers for the Italian brand, for which she is also the latest campaign star. Our first impressions? They are real British and real girly.
Each pair — available in "sugary blue," "sugary pink" and a red/purple combo — is adorned with big hearts that go across the platform. She tells Elle UK that she was inspired by walking around Paris. "In the end, I went for something bold and girlish," Waterhouse explained. That she did.
If you're ready for colorful platform sneakers to be back, the collection hits stores and the brand's website in August, though, sadly, they may only be available in the UK — we've reached out to a rep for Superga to confirm.
