Every so often, I'll get obsessed with a certain type of clothing or shoe and then buy it in various iterations. First it was black ankle boots, then black minimalist sandals, and now it's denim skirts. While spending money on different versions of the same thing may seem odd, it works for me, because I actually wear all of them; and believe it or not, different denim skirts can serve different purposes.
My denim mini skirt is great for parties; I have a structured, high-waisted one with a pleat that's a little more professional and a high-waisted body-hugging one for when I'm feeling retro. But, I was missing a comfortable, casual, lightweight denim skirt for every day. Until now.
This one by A.P.C. completely fits the bill. Paired with those minimalist black sandals and a white t-shirt — of which I also have too many — this vaguely '70s skirt is definitely going to become a staple in my wardrobe for the rest of the summer.
