Model Camille Rowe Makes Her Design Debut With Reformation Collaboration

She's the latest in an ever-growing stable of models turned designers.

Models spend so much time trying on and testing out clothing that it only makes sense that they often branch out into other aspects of the fashion industry, namely design. (All those Instagram followers help, too.) The latest model-turned-designer is Camille Rowe —the French-born, California-raised stunner who's captivated the industry with her unique combination of sex appeal and that cool-girl insouciance — who just released her first collaboration with eco-friendly retailer Reformation.

Since Reformation is basically a one stop shop for all model-off-duty-appropriate pieces, this partnership seems like a match made in heaven. Rowe's range is inspired by retro style icons and includes everyday staples like overalls, floral dresses, cozy shorts and tees.

Rowe says she has always had a love for icons of the '60s and '70s, and wanted to capture the "laid-back, sexy feel" of  icons like Jane Birkin, Edie Sedgwick and even Jack Nicholson. Her personal vintage collection also served as a key source of inspiration, she says.

This might be Rowe's first foray into the world of design, but we have a feeling it won't be her last. Click through the gallery above to see the full collection, which is available beginning on July 14 at the Reformation
