Beauty companies are always trying to out-do each other for the perfect cat eye products, but maybe this latest Shu Uemura campaign has gone too far -- because its tapped an actual cat for its holiday ad campaign, WWD reports.
Of course, it helps that this cat is well connected: It's Choupette, the beloved cat of Karl Lagerfeld, who regularly works with the label (he uses its products to sketch his designs). And the campaign is for a 17-piece collection, to be released just in time for the holidays, called Shupette by Karl Lagerfeld.
It's unclear what kind of makeup products will be included in the line, but since Lagerfeld has been inspired by Choupette's beauty in the past, it's fair to expect things related to the deep blue of her eyes. Maybe even some soft, fluffy white false eyelashes? Fingers crossed.
