After a week of tulle, crystals and Lesage embroidery the fall 2014 haute couture shows have come to a close.
But while the function of couture fashion week is to show custom clothing for each certified house's luckiest clients -- or, in some cases, to market a perfume -- it's also an opportunity for designers to show off their most fanciful and outrageous creations, some more practical than others.
