Jessica Alba's Zimmermann Skirt Won Comic-Con

Lots of young actresses in pretty outfits flocked to San Diego this weekend, but none of the looks quite lived up to this skirt.

There was lots of sartorial excitement coming out of Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend — specifically, the "Mad Max: Fury Road" trailer which stars my favorite model on the planet, Abbey Lee Kershaw — and Jessica Alba, who was on hand to promote her role in "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," might have had our favorite look of them all.

The actress wore a high-waisted skirt from the resort collection of Australian label Zimmermann, complete with lattice-like mesh inserts that make each piece of tropically-patterned silk appear to be floating. To complement the beach-y look, Alba wore a Tanya Taylor bandeau top that could easily double as a bathing suit, but when you have a body like Alba's (read: abs for days), you are allowed to bend the rules a little. Finally, she chose some funky, tasseled sandals by Kotur, and while they're a little bit loud, the fit right in with the bohemian vibe of her look.

Comic-Con is known for fans dressing up as their favorite fantasy characters, so it seems like a great opportunity to experiment with a look that's a bit wilder than you're used to. Yes, Alba's outfit is a lot, but when in Rome, right?
