We're willing to bet that there weren't too many fashion people at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend, but that doesn't mean they weren't paying attention.
Aside from the plentiful style inspiration that the celebrity appearances and photo calls provided, Comic-Con debuted a handful of trailers that star some of the industry's most beloved players — namely, a teaser for the next installment of "The Hunger Games" series starring Jennifer Lawrence, and the first official preview of George Miller's upcoming film "Mad Max: Fury Road."
The post-apocalyptic action flick is a reprise of the "Mad Max" series that starred Mel Gibson in the '80s, and from the looks of the trailer, it seems to consist of one long, explosive car chase through the Australian desert. The movie stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron in the lead roles, but a handful of major models help to round out the cast. Australian stunners Abbey Lee Kershaw and Courtney Eaton feature prominently in the trailer, along with Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough and action movie vet Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
"Mad Max: Fury Road" won't hit theaters until May 15, 2015, but you can get a sneak peek by watching the clip above.
