It's no secret that Olivia Palermo has become a staple on the street style scene -- her every outfit is carefully documented across the web, including on her own website OliviaPalermo.com, which reportedly generates a pretty hefty revenue stream from affiliate links.
So it's hardly surprising that Aquazzura, a brand Palermo regularly wears, has chosen to collaborate with her on a line of shoes. Palermo has well-documented selling power, moving the retail needle more than stars like Justin Bieber and Jessica Alba. It's why Westward Leaning tapped her for a capsule collection of eyewear, and undoubtedly what inspired Aquazzura to do the same.
Designer Edgardo Osorio worked with Palermo on the six-piece collection, which will hit select stores and Net-a-Porter September of this year. According to a release, the inspiration behind Aquazzura x Olivia Palermo, as they're calling it, came from a combination of Palermo's closet and Osorio's archives.
They're calling it the "ultimate survival pack," which I'm sure Bear Grylls would disapprove of, considering we're talking about some pretty over-the-top styles of shoes: over-the-knee suede boots, jeweled sandals, metallic sandals, gladiator sandals, suede and snake pumps, and suede booties. The line is priced between $600 and $1,650.
