Starworks Group is currently hiring a Senior Account Manager / Account Director for our Los Angeles office.
Support team in the development and execution of PR & marketing strategies across a portfolio of fashion and lifestyle clients within the commercial / luxury sector.
•Ability to manage with autonomy, yet be led by NY based VP, managing a small PR team focussing on fashion brands
•Report in to Divisional VP as to client and departmental needs
•Work in tandem both with NY head office, and the various departments of SWG located within the LA office
•Work across Denim, RTW, Mens, Womens and Accessories, also
•Artist Talent Profile Representation
•Competency to lead accounts, offering both high levels of strategic insight as well as day to day PR process
•Develop and execute effective press strategies, which support the brands, including seasonal product launches, identifying new coverage opportunities and story angles throughout the year
•Develop and execute for relevant clients, in conjunction with Account team a calendar of marketing activity to support all business channels for clients
•Actively lead reporting and client calls/meetings, especially for those based in LA
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•4 + years PR agency experience (West Coast Preferable)
•Pro-active and strategic thinking and planning
•New Business Development skills necessary
•Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
•Knowledge of local and national media, as well as strong contacts in the wider industry
