Band of Outsiders Cancels Fashion Week Show
We're officially a little less excited about Fashion Week.
Ok, that's a bit dramatic -- but we were pretty bummed Wednesday morning to hear that Band of Outsiders had cancelled its runway show. Designer Scott Sternberg's shows and presentations are always among the most unique and theatrical, but also cool and laid back, of Fashion Week. Also, there were usually cookies.
This show will definitely be missed. Fortunately, fans of the brand will be able to get their BoO fix at its first ever retail store, set to open Sept. 7. (Preparations for the store opening are what caused Sternberg to cancel the show.) It's located at 70 Wooster St. in SoHo, which we hear will be adjacent to Milk Bar's first SoHo outpost. Fashion and cookies!
