Following in the footsteps of Diana Ross and Raquel Welch, Brooke Shields has become the latest participant in a MAC Cosmetics Icon collection, a series of collaborations with universally acknowledged megababes. The range will go on sale October 2 in U.S. stores and internationally later that month.
The 15-piece collection — priced between $17 and $85 — features an outsized eyeshadow palette with 16 shades in a variety of finishes, which WWD says is the largest celebrity palette MAC has done thus far.
That's because Shields is aiming for versatility in the collection; to that end, she created makeup for not one but two looks, a fresh one for day and a vampier one for evening. Sounds about right for a woman whose name became synonymous with the phrase "natural beauty" when she broke onto the scene.
And in case you were worried, yes: The collection does include two brow products, a liner and a clear gel.
A MAC rep declined to provide further details than appeared in the WWD article.
