Jared Leto has been lying relatively low since his awards season sweep earlier this year, taking time to make music with his band 30 Seconds to Mars, attend a fashion show here and there, and occasionally stop to hug things. One thing he hasn't been doing since awards season? Shaving. And last night on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon, the host put a stop to the actor's lack of grooming once and for all.
Leto — whose ombré waves are still very shiny and enviable — admitted to Fallon that he'd been growing his beard since the Oscars and that he'd grown very attached to it. Like the rest of us, however, Fallon insisted that the bearded look (which can only be described as "hipster Jesus") had gone too far. Lucky for Leto, Fallon only trimmed off a bit, although we were secretly hoping that the host would leave the singer with a mustache or a funky goatee. Pipe dreams.
Watch the clip above to see Fallon, in the words of Leto, "trim [his] bush real good."
