At this point, it's pretty clear that if Kate Middleton goes out in public, we're going to talk about what she's wearing. And sometimes we're going to like it!
This falls into the latter category. The Duchess of Cambridge attended an event in Belgium commemorating the centennial of World War I in a cream colored coat from Alexander McQueen, as identified by What Kate Wore, on Monday. It's not particularly daring for her -- the color, the cut, and the brand are all trusty standbys -- but it is very pretty and flattering on her.
The coat itself is a good move from someone who has recently been the subject of many a pregnancy rumor. It's got a beautifully nipped in waist that doesn't leave much room for a potential bump, and appears to be custom. The hat is Jane Taylor Millinery, and is currently available at her website for £615, just over $1,036 at current exchange.
And then -- damnit! -- those nude L.K. Bennetts. We were so close Kate. So close...and yet so far.
