Dubbed Lela Rose Exclusively for Lane Bryant, the collaboration will hit stores summer 2015, just in time for customers to sport Rose's signature watercolor prints. The collection, which will start at a size 14, will be sold online and in select stores.
The partnership is welcome news for plus-size customers, who are often completely left out in collaborations between high-end fashion designers and mass retailers like Target and H&M. Rose's super feminine designs are a natural fit for the Lane Bryant customer, who often shops for more mature work-appropriate pieces there. Lane Bryant, which has a broad reach for the plus-size customer but has not always offered her fashion-forward choices, is increasingly meeting demands for more fashionable design with these designer partnerships.
