Ready or not, Fashion Month is upon us. Aside from the sleepless nights, international travel and dozens of new trends to catalogue, that means we're about to meet a new crop of models on the brink of making it big. And with a group of faces that includes cool girls like Issa Lish, Louise Parker, Steffy Argelich, and Mica Arganaraz, modeling's future looks pretty bright.
Meet the girls we're sure are going to stand out this season, broken down by agency, below.
DNA has a bunch of models making their big breaks this season. There's Mica Arganaraz, who is coming off a single-girl Prada campaign, Vuitton favorite Rianne von Rompaey and Proenza Schouler's fall campaign star Julia Bregshoeff. These three are definitely going to be household names very, very soon — if you can pronounce them, that is.
IMG is internationally known for its management of big-name models, but their up-and-comers are pretty impressive, too. Montana Cox, an Aussie model with years of experience, is having a resurgence after a Givenchy exclusive. Veroniek Gielkens opened the Givenchy AW14 show and scored a coveted spot in the house's ads alongside Kendall Jenner and Jamie Bochert. And then there's Steffy Argelich, who, with her shag 'do, is certain to appear in all the cool shows after walking for Louis Vuitton's cruise presentation.
With a model package that includes Kendall Jenner — er, sorry, Kendall — photographer/model Louise Parker and Saint Laurent muse Valery Kaufman, The Society is set to rule the fall runways. We're especially keen on Ysaunny Brito, who has already appeared in LOVE and Vogue Paris, as well as on the runways for Céline, Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu and more. Brunette Antonina Petkovic (with her Jane Birkin bangs) is certain to make a splash as well.
You can't beat the lineup of Issa Lish, current Steven Meisel muse, and Sora Choi, the winner of a modeling competition in Korea and Louis Vuitton favorite.
Next, Viva Paris and Women
We have high hopes for Kia Low (Next), Jean Campbell (Viva Paris) and Vanessa Moody(Women). Low has a resumé that includes Alexander McQueen, Rodarte, Calvin Klein and more, while Campbell was selected to star in Louis Vuitton's "Series 1" ads alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg, Liya Kebede and Freja Beha Erichsen (NBD). Moody appears on Vogue Italia's most recent cover — which is a pretty huge get for a newbie — and she also opened Balenciaga's AW14 show.
