Do you Insta your #OOTDs? Are you hitting triple digits in Twitter followers? Does your camera roll consist of screenshots of outfit inspo from Tumblr? Do your friends come to you for outfit advice? Do you wish you could major in School Spirit?
If you answered “yes!” to any of these questions, we want you to apply to be the HGIC (Hunt Girl In Charge) for The Hunt on your campus!
The Hunt is a community-driven style and shopping app, that we like to call “The Cure for Outfit Envy.” See a pic on social media of a cute outfit that you NEED but don’t know where to buy? Easy! Start a Hunt and the community will solve it for you. Fashion know-it-all? Solve Hunts for other people and score some style karma. We have several celebrity community members including Kylie Jenner and Kat Graham and investments from Ashton Kutcher and Tyra Banks.
The Hunt is launching a program for stylish and outgoing college reps at University of Southern California, University of Delaware, University of Arizona, San Francisco State, University of California Berkeley, University of Michigan, Chico State, Scripps College and San Diego State. We will select one HGIC from each campus who will recruit a stylish team of Style Scouts on campus to represent The Hunt from September to December.
As a HGIC you will be responsible for a team of Style Scouts and creating and managing a Hunt profile for your school. You will be tasked with monthly Style Missions from trend spotting on campus, to organizing an event. The goal of this internship is to increase downloads and awareness about The Hunt on your campus. We understand that college is a crazy time and you have a lot going on, so this won’t be a huge time commitment, about 6 hrs per week.
So what will you get? HGICs will receive discount codes and prizes from some of our fashion and beauty brand partners for winning Style Missions and of course some sweet Hunt swag. You will get hands-on management, marketing, event planning, social media and public relations experience working directly with a fast-moving startup company. You’ll get to know other HGICs at schools around the country who share your passions for fashion and marketing. This is also a great addition to your LinkedIn profile, something to tell future employers and we will provide an letter of recommendation. At the end of the semester we will choose one HGIC to receive a massive prize.
Think you’ve got what it takes? To apply please send us a resume and cover letter telling us why you would be the perfect HGIC Style Scout, a picture that describes your personal style and links to your Twitter and Instagram accounts. Please send your application to email@example.com.
