Alexa Chung Proves That Pigtails Aren't Just for Children

Now it's not just her Fashion Week outfits we want to copy.

Alexa Chung provides us with outfit inspiration all year round, but Fashion Month really takes her visibility factor (and therefore her "frequency of perfect outfits" factor) up a notch. We've been keeping an eye on her enviable wardrobe as she hits up the shows in New York and London — particularly her Shrimps fur, Tabitha Simmons shoes and collection of Chanel — but the beauty look that she chose for the Topshop Unique show in London on Sunday is what's really caught our attention thus far.

Chung's shaggy haircut always leaves us wanting to reach for the shears, but the pigtail braids she tied up with bows (leaving strands of hair loose in the front) are not only insanely cute, they somehow look age-appropriate with her fitted high-waisted skirt and mock turtleneck top. Considering how quickly Chung can start a trend, we're thinking this hairstyle will pop up on the streets of Fashion Month before the London shows even come to a close.
