Primary responsibilities will be: • Pitch for strong product placements • Participate and guide execution of strategy • Identify, plan and execute appropriate media relations plans and tactics to promote newsworthy items and initiatives, leading to measurable coverage in targeted media outlets • Research features stories in keeping with the strategy • Create monthly reports and weekly updates • Support in creating client presentations • Report to President
Agency requirements: • 3-5 years solid experience in the fashion industry, agency experience a plus (internships excluded) • Must have strong competency in working directly with clients • Possess strong market editor contacts in print, online and TV (references required) • Experience managing teams • Professional, organized and efficient as well as courteous to client and teams • Strong writing and communication skills as well as the ability to present concepts and strategies directly to clients • Attention to detail • Experience in front-of-house event planning and execution
