Moschino Is Putting Out a Spring Capsule The Day After Its Show

Because we want what we want, and we want it now.

Last February, Jeremy Scott made the smart decision to put out a capsule collection from his debut at Moschino just days after the brand's runway show, cashing in on the frenzy incited by the in-your-face, junk culture-themed range. Fast food, fast fashion. Pretty soon, iPhone cases molded to look like McDonald's fries were everywhere.

Turns out that wasn't a one-time deal: With Moschino's spring 2015 show taking place on Thursday, a limited range of pieces from the collection will go on sale the next day. Nordstrom, which will be live-streaming the runway show from its blog, is among the retailers participating and says that it will be getting the goods in-store on Friday and selling them online by Sunday.

According to a Nordstrom rep, the "mystery capsule collection" will include a whole bunch of accessories: Two headbands, two handbags, two messenger bags, two backpacks, an iPhone case and two clutches.

We'll leave you with one last tidbit: The theme of the show is "Think Pink." So you can imagine what that will entail.

Update: According to a Moschino rep, the full list of retailers who will be selling the collection includes Alchemist, Hirshleifer’s, Net-a-Porter, Nordstrom, Opening Ceremony, Saks, Rent the Runway and Shopbop. Prices range from $35 for a headband (affordable!) to $2,675 for a leather jacket.

Moschino has also let us know that all of the retailers actually bought the collection sight unseen, with no more information than the product descriptions. Based on the success of the last capsule, all of them were willing to place their (literally blind) faith in the brand.
