Coats Don't Need to Have Sleeves, Say All Designers

It was the season of sleeveless coats, also known as vests.

It seems that, sometimes, designers want to incorporate layering pieces into their spring collections, but for spring and summer, it doesn't necessarily make sense to do a full-on coat. So, meet the sleeveless coat, which you might also call a long vest.

It's definitely an in-between season piece. For spring 2015, brands like Theory, Rag & Bone and Reed Krakoff mostly layered them over dresses, pants and top/shorts combos. For the most part, the arms were kept bare.
