Amanda Bynes's Shopping Antics Caught on Video, Amazon to Open First 'Store' in NYC

And Karl Lagerfeld's cat, Choupette, modeled for a car calendar and supposedly wasn't a diva.

On Wednesday, Amanda Bynes reportedly tried to shoplift a $128 shirt from Manhattan boutique Pookie & Sebastian (and, later that same day, a $200 hat from Barneys). TMZ now has the security video, which shows Bynes being approached by a man -- TMZ claims he is Bynes's driver -- before she breaks out into some thrusting dance moves. According to unidentified sources, Amazon is opening up its first brick-and-mortar location across from the Empire State Building in New York City, just in time for the holiday shopping season. The "store" will reportedly facilitate same-day delivery within NYC, and allow shoppers to pick up their online orders and make returns and exchanges. {WSJ}

American Apparel employees were left scratching their heads when Dov Charney, the founder and ousted chief executive officer of American Apparel, made an appearance during a company conference call with store managers on Tuesday. Sources say it's unlikely Charney will get his old CEO job back, but some other role could possibly be negotiated. {WWD}

Karl Lagerfeld's cat, Choupette, is the new model for the 2015 Opel Corsa car calendar -- shot by none other than Karl Lagerfeld himself. According to Lagerfeld, Choupette did a great job on the shoot, "just as I would expect from a star," and was "relaxed" whether behind the wheel or on the roof.
