As the temp drops, I have been forced to admit that maybe this is finally the year I buy a turtleneck. I know they're warm and practical, but the wrong ones also make you feel like you're being strangled all day.
This one from Gap is a soft, comfortable wool that I don't mind gently hugging my neck. Plus, camel is a classic fall color which works with loads of different options. The problem is that it's a tough color for me thanks to my pale skin, which makes many traditional, lighter camels wash me out completely. This is a deeper, richer color, which is actually kind of flattering.
"But Tyler!" you say. "That's not black! What about the #aesthetic?"
Don't fret, friends: I picked one up in black, too.
Merino turtleneck sweater, $59.95, available at Gap.
