J.C. Penney Gets New CEO, Gemma Ward Comeback Continues

And Birkin bags smell like... marijuana?

Mike Ullman is stepping down from his role as CEO of J.C. Penney...again. He first took the position in 2004, until Ron Johnson took over in 2011. He came back in 2013 after Johnson's revamp attempts failed miserably. Home Depot executive Marvin Ellison will join the company as CEO-designee November 1, officially taking over Ullman's position next August. {WWD}

Luxottica's CEO has also stepped down -- after a little more than a month on the job. Enrico Cavatorta reportedly resigned over a dispute about appointments to the eyewear company's board. {Bloomberg}

Customers are returning $20,000 Hermès bags to the company, complaining that the bags smell like skunks and even marijuana. Apparently, the smell has been caused by a problem with the leather tanning process. Talk about high luxury! {Page Six}

Gemma Ward's first comeback magazine cover is here. She looks unsurprisingly stunning on Sunday Style Australia. {Design Scene}
