New York communications agency is hiring a Fashion PR Account Manager
Reporting to: Account Director
Direct reports: Account Executives, Account Coordinators
The Account Manager is responsible for the delivery of excellent, consistent and constant fashion & lifestyle PR coverage on behalf of our clients. Our successful candidate will possess exceptional media relationships & have a proven track record of delivering unparalleled client servicing.
Key responsibilities
- Generate superior PR coverage including editorial, features and brand-building spreads
- Develop and manage PR programs
- Develop and manage publicity plans
- Excellent management of client relations ensuring first rate level of professional servicing at all times
- Plan and supervise activity on accounts
- Successfully organize media events including run up to the event, manage the design element; manage creation of invitations and e-invites through the creative process and effectively manage guest lists.
- Identify & outreach to celebrities, relevant to the target audience, brand/project and capitalize on collaboration, brand endorsement and product placement opportunities
- Write press releases and briefs (internal and external) which are satisfactory for sign off by AD/client
- Manage and monitor budgets, ensuring all campaigns kept within budget and regularly advise on budgetary status
- Organize and chair client meetings clearly demonstrating where you add value with your input
- Present effectively in a variety of situations both internally and externally
- Develop documents and presentations to a high standard
- Stay contemporary, keep abreast of industry trends, developments and opportunities
- Effective team management ensuring individuals are motivated, properly briefed, working in an efficient and effective way
- Support with team appraisals
- Identify new business opportunities as appropriate

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant & recent experience
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks from multiple team members
- Excellent verbal & written skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Proficient in word, excel (powerpoint and keynote a plus)
- Knowledge of Cision, Fashion GPS
