I fell head-over-heels for Zimmermann's resort 2015 collection, called "The Light Riot," as soon as I laid eyes on it. I was particularly enamored with the beautifully embroidered eyelet pieces, structural skirts and diaphanous dresses, all in bright white. Not only are they appropriate for the exotic, tropical vacation that I dream of going on sometime soon, but they also look like they're made for the coolest, most laid-back bride out there.
Since I am getting married in less than a month, it's no surprise that I have wedding-appropriate clothing on the brain, especially this dreamy scrunch dress from the Australian brand.
Since it's long-sleeved and hits about mid-calf, it's casual enough for the pre-wedding festivities, while still giving off bridal vibes thanks to the blouson top and white shade. Plus, I know I'd get plenty of use out of it once the big weekend is over (unless a sloshed guest spills red wine down the front), which makes it worth the investment. Even better, it would give me a head start on my honeymoon packing.
Riot scrunch dress, $550, available at Zimmermann.
