If you'd rather head to stores to shop, don't worry about paying more: According to Adobe, in-store prices will match online prices for the most part, and you might get a special discount exclusive to stores, especially on Black Friday and during inventory clearance periods closer to the holidays. Online retailers are expecting a record holiday season, with holiday sales forecast to jump 10 percent over last year, far outpacing the national average. Building on trends from previous years, more shoppers will turn to their mobile devices to make purchases: In fact, nearly a third of all online sales will be placed on smartphones and tablets on Thanksgiving Day, up from 21 percent last year.
