Once winter hits, I wear beanies so often that you might think one is surgically attached to my head. For whatever reason, the cozy hats just "work" with my long hair and generally relaxed personal style, so I have formed a solid collection of them over the years. Last year, I decided to get a little fancy and purchase a simple, black beanie made from 100% cashmere, and believe me when I tell you that it was a game-changer. Soft, warm and perfectly slouchy, I've worn that thing to death — so as the freezing weather approaches, it's about time for me to invest in a new one.
While browsing Club Monaco (whose selection of winter whites is on point) a couple of weeks ago, I saw this cream cashmere hat on a mannequin — and I knew it had to be mine. The light color allows the chunky knit texture to really stand out, and to make it even cuter, it's topped off with a grey shearling pom-pom. Plus, it's as soft as it looks. Good thing the holidays are coming up, as I'll soon need a benefactor to buy me this baby in every color.
Eleta cashmere hat, $119.50, available at Club Monaco.
