Just because "Interstellar" is officially in theaters, that doesn't mean that Jessica Chastain's reign on the red carpet is over for the year. Next up is "A Most Violent Year," hence more premiere and screening outfits to admire. Lately we've been swooning over her black tie game -- namely a futuristic crystal embellished Prada gown and that princess moment in Saint Laurent -- so it was kind of refreshing to see the star dressed down, but still looking flawless, at a recent screening of the film.
The Oscar nominee opted for a menswear-inspired vibe with a blue plaid pantsuit from the Temperley London resort 2015 collection. Chastain kept the accents low-key: a sheer black t-shirt to layer and classic black pumps to accessorize. (And that may be her small matching clutch resting on the table over there, in front of a crumpled cocktail napkin.) Her natty-chic ensemble made for a perfect counterpoint to co-star Kirsten Dunst's retro-ladylike look: a '50s-style buttoned-up silk blouse, a demure knee length skirt and almond-toe pumps.
We're looking forward to Chastain's movie lineup and ensuing red carpet appearances for 2015 — three and counting, per her IMDB page.
