Starbucks Bans Engagement Rings and Colored Hair, Joan Jett for Hot Topic Lands

Starbucks has released a new dress code, one which forbids engagement rings and "bright and unnatural" hair colors. Employees are now allowed to have tattoos though (how progressive!) -- for anyone who was unaware that tattoos no longer equate to a criminal record. {Jezebel}

Timberland, maker of iconic workman boots, is releasing a collection of... tires. The company has partnered with Radar Tires in an effort to double its revenue to $3.1 billion by 2019. As part of a recycling program, worn-out tires will be used for the outsoles of Timberland shoes. The collection will launch in April and retail for about $200. {WWD}
