Welcome to another edition of "Things Eliza Wears Every Day!" Today we're taking a look at the Timberland boots I bought before going on trip to Iceland in November that I have not removed since.*
That's barely an exaggeration. Breaking them in was admittedly painful — blisters everywhere — but once I did, they promptly became the most comfortable shoes I own. Waterproof and sturdy, they're also the optimal choice for traipsing around the city when it's raining, snowing or some crappy combination thereof.
It's not just practicality, though. They're clean-lined and tough — and a little anonymous. Because they're all black, people somehow get confused and don't immediately recognize them as Timberlands. Exactly what I'm aiming for.
Timberland 6" Premium boot, $179, available at Zappos.
*Sleeping, showering and the gym excepting.
