Karlie Kloss Remembers Oscar de la Renta, Lindsay Lohan Launches Men's Clothing Line

Plus, Dover Street Market leaves Dover Street and Cara Delevingne posts hilarious meme mashup on Instagram.

The death of Oscar de la Renta inspired an outpouring of heartfelt remembrances from the fashion community honoring the iconic designer. Most recently, Karlie Kloss, who met the designer when she was only 15 years old, wrote a touching account of working with and befriending de la Renta for Glamour’s January issue. The supermodel wrote about the first time she went to his atelier, how honored she was to close several of his shows and even shared a heartfelt conversation she had with the late designer about the importance of love. {Glamour}

Several teen retailers including Abercrombie & Fitch, Claire’s Stores, Aéropostale and Pacific Sunwear (Pacsun), reported a difficult third quarter indicating just how much work needs to be done in Q4. Though the retailers all met Wall Street’s estimates, only Pacific Sunwear was able to report a gain in sales. By far the hardest hit is Aeropostale who reported a net loss of $52.3 million, or 66 cents a diluted share, compared to a loss of $25.6 million or 33 cents, a year ago. {WWD}

Speaking of teens, Lindsay Lohan is hoping to appeal to their rebellious side (and probably upset a few parents) with a new men’s clothing line at PacSun called “My Addiction.” Apparently Civil Clothing approached the actress with the idea for the line and the name to which Lohan, with her a long history of drug and alcohol abuse, agreed. The line appears to feature sportswear inspired items with prices starting at $29.95. {TMZ}

Dover Street Market, the store that helped turn a tiny London street into a global shopping destination, is leaving its namesake block for a new location. According to Adrian Joffe, CEO of Dover Street Market and Comme des Garçons, the store will relocate to Haymarket near Piccadilly Circus by the end of 2015. The retailer will be saying goodbye to some illustrious neighbors on Dover Street including Acne, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and Victoria Beckham, who just opened her first flagship shop right across the street. {WWD}
