Kate Middleton Wears Statement Jewelry, Meets Jenna Lyons

A turtleneck dress was hiding underneath this morning's hot pink coat.

Day three of the royal visit continues! After visiting the 9/11 Memorial and The Door youth development agency this morning, the Duchess finally took her coat off indoors at the Creativity is GREAT Reception hosted by NeueHouse. Her long-sleeve black turtleneck dress featured a curved empire waist, perfect for baby bumps, and is available for only $99 from Kate's favorite maternity brand, Seraphine.

The event in celebration of British creative talent served as yet another occasion for Kate to meet super awesome Americans, namely Jenna Lyons, creative director of J. Crew. Maybe Lyons gave her some tips on developing her personal style

So far on this trip, Kate has let her dress or coat make her style statement for her, but this afternoon her gold necklace featuring circle pendants really stood out. It is a bit of a strange choice, but an easy way to dress up a turtleneck.

Tonight the royal couple will be attending the St. Andrews 600th Anniversary Dinner at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which will hopefully include some exciting formalwear from the Duchess.
