An impressive count of the industry's top models walked the runway at Marc Jacobs's military-inspired Spring 2015 show back in September, but you might not have caught them all right away, considering they each wore matching black bowl-cut wigs to augment the feeling of uniformity. Now, the designer has unveiled the first images from the ad campaign to go along with the collection, and the army girls are back in action — ten of them, to be exact.
First reported by WWD, Jacobs's spring campaign — which was styled by Katie Grand (who also cast the show) and shot by David Sims — will feature both close-up and full-length portraits of Anya Rubik (pictured), Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Jessica Stam, Natasha Poly, Issa Lish, Adriana Lima and Anna Ewers, all wearing versions of the designer's take on a uniform and with a bare-faced beauty look created by Diane Kendal. Going on the casting alone, this will likely be one of the biggest (and hardest to beat) campaigns of the season, but we're not too surprised, considering the designer has tapped the likes of Miley Cyrus and both Fanning sisters for his ads in the past.
While we're only being treated to a preview of Rubik's campaign image, we won't have to wait much longer to see the whole thing: it debuts in the January issues of international magazines.
