New York based women’s footwear collection is looking for an experienced freelance wholesale account executive. Ideal candidate is highly motivated, hard-working individual with strong, established buyer contacts both domestic and international.
The line has been featured in such publications as Harper’s Bazaar, WWD, Vogue, Footwear News, and In Style amongst others.
Requirements: At least 2 years of WHOLESALE SALES experience in the footwear industry and high-end contemporary market. Have existing relationships with buyers throughout the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Proven track record of opening and closing footwear sales for new/ emerging designers with specialty boutiques and multi- door retailers. Have the ability to acquire new business and strengthen existing relationships. Be highly organized and detail oriented. Have strong written/ oral communication and interpersonal skills.
This position is commission based and requires travel during market.
