Condé Nast Editors to Create Content for Brands, Kate Upton Stars in Express Ads

As snow falls outside our windows, brand ambassador Kate Upton is on a boat and lounging by the pool in the Express spring 2015 campaign. The blonde bombshell models some sailor-inspired ensembles while basking in the sun. Jealous, much? {Fashion Copious}    

The wall between editorial and advertising is coming down. Condé Nast has formed a new department called "23 Stories," created for the purpose of having editors produce content for brands. According to execs at Condé Nast Media Group, the initiative has support from the company's editorial teams, "from Anna on down." {AdAge}

Although 23 Stories promises to be great for Condé's ad sales, it has some members of the digital peanut gallery — aka Twitter — concerned about the diminished separation of church and state. {Digiday}
