Emily Blunt had all the right bling in all the right places on Wednesday at a gala screening of "Into the Woods" in London. She wore a dress from David Koma's spring 2015 collection that features diagonal rows of crystal clusters across the chest, upper back, hips and bottom hem. It's an unusual take on an otherwise simple long, sleeveless dress, which is perfect for showing off her defined shoulders. And not that she needs it, but the alignment of the crystal rows flatter the body by emphasizing curves and elongating the frame. It's elegant, dramatic and modern all at once.
She wisely chose to refrain from nail color, so as to not distract from the shimmering dress and Jennifer Fisher rings. But the best part of this red carpet look might be just how confident and powerful she looks, without coming off as arrogant in any way. It's one of my favorite things about Emily Blunt — and a big part of the reason that she slays every red carpet we see her on. She's got an insane body without seeming pretentious, a non-stop career of hits without seeming calculating and a down-to-earth attitude without seeming overly genuine. We can't wait to see what she wears on Sunday to the Golden Globes.
